The Ezekiel Project draws inspiration from Ezekiel 37:1-14, where Ezekiel is commanded to prophesy over dry bones and bring them back to life. Our mission here is to revive those ”dry bones,” invigorating men and encouraging them to take their rightful place as leaders within their households. We aim to highlight women’s vital role in the family structure by supporting and standing beside their partners. In addition, we will discuss various biblical topics that may cause confusion or hesitation in building a relationship with Christ. We might also host a Bible study from time to time. Don’t worry; I’m not one of those theologians who complicate things to the point of confusion. I’m just a regular person who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, California, and I prefer to keep things straightforward and relatable. So come, let’s talk, share, and grow together. The Ezekiel Project is your home.

**Podcast Summary: Episode [Episode Number] - The Gifts of the Spirit: Understanding and Misuse** What's up, familia! In this week's episode, we take a moment to catch up and connect before delving into a vital discussion about the gifts of the Spirit, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:1-12. These gifts—such as prophecy, healing, discernment, and speaking in tongues—are meant to serve and uplift the church community, fostering unity and love among believers.
However, there is a meaningful conversation we need to have about individuals who exploit these spiritual gifts for personal gain. We focus particularly on those who exploit these powerful abilities to amplify their status and influence, often causing harm to others in the process. It's essential to recognize the potential damage this can inflict on the faith of others, as well as on the church as a whole.
Throughout the episode, we'll explore how the inappropriate use of spiritual gifts can lead to confusion, disillusionment, and a shaky foundation for those who look to their leaders for guidance. We'll discuss real-life examples and provide insights on how to discern genuine use of the gifts versus those that are exploited for selfish motives.
Once again, I invite you to engage and share your thoughts. If you'd like to drop me a line, reach out at kimoulloa@aol.com. Thank you for listening, and let's navigate this important topic together!
